Humans are really destroying the planet with their cars!

There are too many cars. And not enough regulations to control the carbon dioxide…

How can humans live?
ELPHI

How can WE live. What humans do affect all of us. All living beings in the planet.
MONKITO

We can boicot the cars!
ELPHI

(LAUGHING) It’s not that easy, Monkito. Cars are very much a part of the modern society. And besides, air pollution is not the only problem.The Earth is warming up… the climate is changing…
MONKITO

So what?
ELPHI

Sooner or later it will affect us, children. There are more rains than usual in one country. Less rain in others. Rivers dry. Changes in the harvests, changes in the seasons…
MONKITO

Are bananas changing?
ELPHI

(LAUGHS) Not yet. But they might change some day unless we do something about it.
MAKI

I saw in TV that some animal species are endangered, What does that mean, Miss Elphi?
ELPHI

It means that they might disappear…
MONKITO

Are we monkeys going to disappear?
ELPHI

Well, some of your cousins in Africa might. Some gorillas face the risk of extinction…
FROGI

I heard that certain frogs are also in the black list.
MAKI

And noise pollution! Humans are very noisy!
ELPHI
